Nothing helpful found, but I did find a hint which I followed up on Google. The hint suggested that the compatibility settings may provide an answer. I used the standard installation, not wanting to spend potentially nugatory time in customising if it was going to fail again. That may have been a factor. Good to hear that your problem has been resolved. Tech support actually downloaded installation files etc when in remote control of my PC. However, they continually failed to get any further than I had. The breakthrough was in running the installation from hard disk and setting compatibility to Windows 7 on setup. I ran it on Windows 7 Before, but my new computer has Windows 10 installed. The setup. Still, I like Office and I do have a license for it. Install it through your package manager just as you would any other package.

It probably has a name similar to the package you already have, but says 32 bit somewhere. I don't use Fedora myself, so I don't know the exact name or where to find it; ask on the Fedora forum. It's the bit version, but maybe it has support for bit clients???

After updating to Windows XP SP3, then I run the install file again; I get the installation screen and hit the upgrade button even though I do not currently have any version of Office on my computer except Excel , and during the installation I get the following messages: 1.
